There are links to external information for the aforementioned exercises just click on them to open them up. My favorite is comparing two circuits: which one’s better? And, of course, the answers are all provided at the end. There are exercises throughout, including fill-in-the-blank questions. I really like the side-by-side gate comparisons.Įxercises. The book includes tables, images, logic gate diagrams, computer code, quantum circuit diagrams, Bloch spheres, Quirk screenshots, side-by-side comparisons of classical and quantum logic gates, and IBM Quantum screenshots. Whether your background is physics, mathematics, computer science, or other, most of the content should be digestible. Much of the book is written in plain English. So, that’s why I’m writing this article: this book actually is good, and here’s why. Strikingly, these comments are all missing WHY this book is good. I wasn’t planning to review it in an article, but I thought I might as well be prepared to comment about it in random conversations. So, OK, I might as well download it and skim it. Wong share his new, free, e-book titled, “ Introduction to Classical and Quantum Computing.” My first thought, in all honesty, was, “not another introductory quantum computing book!” But, I saw people sharing it on Twitter and LinkedIn, and then a friend tagged me in a comment. Several days ago, on Twitter, I saw Prof. Wong’s QC Book Good? No one else has explained it yet…. ![]()
