Negative results do not preclude flu A, flu B, RSV, or SARS-CoV-2 infection and should not be used as the sole basis for patient management decisions. The Alinity m Resp-4-Plex assay is not intended to detect influenza C virus infections. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease. Positive results do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. ![]() Positive results are indicative of the presence of flu A, flu B, RSV, or SARS-CoV-2 RNA clinical correlation with patient history and other diagnostic information is necessary to determine patient infection status. flu A, flu B, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2 RNA are generally detectable in nasopharyngeal swab specimens during the acute phase of infection. Results are for the identification and differentiation of RNA from flu A, flu B, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2. The Alinity m Resp-4-Plex assay is a multiplex real-time reverse transcription (RT) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test intended for the qualitative detection and differentiation of RNA from influenza A virus (flu A), influenza B virus (flu B), Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal (NP) swab specimens collected by a healthcare provider, from individuals with signs and symptoms of respiratory tract infection. High sensitive assay to detect individuals with low viral load.Assay design with highly conserved target sequences of SARS-CoV-2, flu A, flu B and RSV for robust detection and clear interpretation of results.Single test with multiplex assay design to differentiate between SARS-CoV-2, flu A, flu B, and RSV and diagnose infection by one of the viruses.Leading Science - Providing Confidence in Results.Streamlined workflow with primary sample loading provides operational efficiencies allowing laboratories to process increased test volumes with existing lab staff and limited resources.(Learn about SARS-CoV-2 variant detection, click here) The Alinity m Resp-4-Plex assay offers workflow efficiency and high throughput solution the laboratory requires today to meet the public health need for differentiation of all 4 viruses. However, if you’re trying to spend $100+ with the current RPI prices, it may be worth it to go for a digital audio streamer with optical out that either has Plex as an integration or your choice of airplay/casting.Innovative multiplex SARS-CoV-2, flu A, flu B, and RSV assay to curb the COVID-19 outbreak during flu season. I say it’s worth trying out with your amp. OP, I’ve read about people using Focusrite interfaces with RPI, plug-n-play. Since the manual for the receiver lists “PC or MAC” as compatible operating systems, I think OP is concerned about whether that USB feature will work or not with RPI and if it does work, will it be “bit perfect?” Also, the receiver doesn’t have HDMI input from what I’m reading, so can’t use the stock mini HDMI as an audio out either. I mean, I don’t know firsthand as I’m only reading about it, but that’s a pretty cool feature since not all laptops and desktops have optical out, but all them have USB. The receiver then acts just like a sound card or smaller external USB desktop amp they you can select as an audio output. That particular receiver can connect to a computer via one of the rear USB ports. “When you say you are connected to your receiver via USB what do you mean exactly?” ![]()
